When Premium ends: what stays and what changes

If your Premium subscription ends, you lose no habit and no day you ticked off. The Premium features are no longer available then. The app remembers the theme and background image you picked, so they are back straight away with Premium.

What stays

• Every habit, history included, even if there are more than 2. The limit of 2 habits only applies when you create a new one.
• Ticking off and editing keeps working for every habit.
• Everything that works without Premium: the grid with month and year view, weekly goals, reminders, the widget, levels, the achievement gallery and the backup to iCloud and as JSON.

What changes

• Theme: the app shows the default theme, “Noir glass”, again. The theme you picked stays saved.
• Your own background image: the photo behind the app disappears, and your choice stays saved.
• Advanced statistics: levels and achievements stay on the “Stats” tab. In place of the advanced statistics you see the note “This is a Premium feature”.
• New habits: once you have 2 or more, adding another one opens the Premium offer.
• Restore and import: without Premium, both take over only the first 2 habits of a backup. More on this in iCloud backup and JSON backup.

When you get Premium again

Theme and background image are back straight away, because the app kept your choice. What Premium costs is on the pricing page.

Managing your subscription

Your subscription runs through Apple. Whether it renews and how to cancel it, you see in your iPhone’s Settings under your name and “Subscriptions”. Apple explains the details.
